The Public Views

The general public has the ability to view all active incidents for a configured service grouping. The public will access the incidents by selecting a 'Live Incident Status' link on the LCWC public Web Site.

Configuring the Public Views, what incidents the general public may or may not view, involve adding groups of incidents and the order in which those groups are displayed. Within each group, the user can specify a group title, the services to be included, and select the incident types that are displayed whenever the public is viewing the pages.

NOTE:   Group Titles must be unique, and each Group must contain at least one Service and one Incident Type.

An Override Name allows an administrator to hide the Incident Type Name, and use a less specific incident type name whenever the selected incident type is displayed within the Public View grouping. If no Override Name is entered for a service, the incident type displayed on the Public View is the actual incident type name.

If a Service is configured to Show Assigned Units, incidents that meet the established criteria will also display the names of the units that are currently assigned to the incident.
