Add or Edit User Role

Authorized WebCAD users can add new user roles or edit existing user roles.

Add a New WebCAD User Role

To add a new WebCAD user role:

  1. Log in to the WebCAD system
  2. Click the Admin Tab
  3. Click Configure User Roles
  4. Click New Role
  5. Enter the Role Name
  6. Enter the Hierarchy number
  7. Select the appropriate Permissions for the new role
  8. Click Save

Edit an Existing WebCAD User Role

To edit or update an existing WebCAD user role:

  1. Log in to the WebCAD system
  2. Click the Admin Tab
  3. Click Configure User Roles
  4. Select the appropriate Web User Role to edit or update
  5. Edit or update the information as necessary
  6. Click Save

NOTE:  Click Delete to remove the Web User Role, and deny access to all users with that role.
